How to Warm Up an Instagram Account in the First Week
A simple day by day plan for a new or bought Instagram account, so it does not get limited when you start posting and following.
A new account, or one you just bought, is easier to limit if you start with a lot of activity at once. A slow start looks more natural. This is a simple plan. There is no magic number, so treat it as a guide.
Day 1: secure it
Log in from one device. Change the password and the recovery email, and turn on 2FA. Do not change the name, bio and photo all at once. Just look around the app for a few minutes.
Days 2 to 3: a little activity
Like a few posts, watch some reels and follow a small number of accounts in your niche. Add a profile photo and a short bio if the account does not have them.
Days 4 to 5: your first post
Post one picture or reel that fits your niche. Reply to the comments if you get any. Keep following only a few accounts a day.
Days 6 to 7: build a routine
Post once a day, or every other day, and spend a little time in the app daily. Increase activity slowly from here.
Things to avoid
- Following or unfollowing many people in one go.
- Logging in from many devices and places on the same day.
- Using tools that automate likes or follows.
- Posting the same thing many times.
Be realistic
Instagram can limit any account, and nothing here is a guarantee. A slow, normal start just lowers the chance.
